Waitaha Mini Workshop: Spirituality vs. Science
Jun 8 @ 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Waitaha Mini Workshops

This workshop consists of two separate sessions and focuses on understanding the relevance of Science (the physical world) in a Spiritual world and vice versa, as well as how the physical realm interacts with the spiritual realm to create our reality. In the session Spirituality vs. Science we will explore the continuum that exists between science and spirituality, and describe some of society’s motivations for viewing them as separate from one another. We will examine the holistic approach to Indigenous knowledge, to include those things that science has lost or forgotten. We will pose the question: ‘True or false: It’s “science” only if we know how to observe and measure it?’ Additionally, we will look at modern science and the concept of “entanglement” as the old walls begin to come down in a quantum world where everything is connected. The Manifestations session will look at how the relationship between body, mind, and Spirit holds the potential to manifest every being’s highest and best reality. We will discuss the merging of the natural world and the spiritual realm within each of us, and do so in the context of the Indigenous view of “right order.” We will consider the question that as co-creators, do we actually manifest what we WANT or rather what we NEED for a higher purpose?

All workshops take place at the AUM campus, room B105, and are from 7 – 9 pm.
