DigitalDanger3Parenting in the Digital Age:How Social Media can Impact your child’s personal safety and career aspirations.

Presenter: Digital Innocence Recovery Group, Columbus Ohio

Being a parent is one of the most challenging and demanding jobs that we can have.

We look out for our children’s physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.  We teach them about the dangers of strangers and drugs as well as the importance of wearing sunscreen.

However, it can be hard to protect them from unknown dangers embedded within something that appeals to them, technology.  It is hard for even the most safety conscience parent to keep up with the fast paced evolution of technology.

This presentation will discuss the dangers youth encounter online and through their smartphones. We will also discuss how Social Media can impact your children’s Digital Reputation and derail their career goals. Techniques will also be shared on how to keep up with the latest ways parents can safeguard their children.
